JOOLA Global, an international table tennis brand founded in the 1950s, was looking to refresh its look and feel.
They wanted to go from 0 to 1, flipping how consumers felt about the brand. They wanted to create a new era for the Joola name.
JOOLA enlisted the help of DCV to re-energize their visuals creating a strong 2020 relaunch presence.
This required filming best in the world table tennis players in the US and Germany, creating pre-launch promos, brand hype videos, 3D product renders, and more.

how we did it —
This entire campaign was shot on a Red Gemini 5K cinema camera. Knowing we'd need a wide range of capabilities from slow motion to low light, the Gemini proved to be the right choice.
We chose to create and mix in real and CG elements to best show the varying products, apparel, and blades.
We presented Joola as a trailblazer, mixing tech and athletics, moving perception from a family brand to market innovator.
